Darwin Millard, Vice-subcommittee Chair at ASTM International, is excited to share what attendees can expect in the two upcoming ASTM Subcommittee meetings he will be leading during the Cannabis Science Conference. As part of the pre-conference workshops, participants will have the opportunity to take part in several ASTM International meetings.
Darwin Millard gives a sneak peek at the “Initiative on Equipment & Facility Cleaning” and “Joint ASTM Subcommittee Initiative on Vape Device Safety & Testing” meetings that he will be guiding. These meetings are just two of the four ASTM meetings taking place on May 7th, 2024.
The D37 Committee on Cannabis was established by ASTM International to develop consensus standards that ensure the safety and quality of cannabis products. These standards cover a wide range of topics, including testing methods, cultivation guidelines, laboratory practices, and more. Stakeholders in the cannabis industry who have an interest in these areas are encouraged to attend the meetings and contribute their insights.
