The seminar, led by a panel of experts including Adam Hall, Mathilde Grenet, Eddie Marshbaum and Ken Read, focused on addressing human rights issues in snow sports. In the first session on Sunday, external speakers joined FIS specialists such as Alexandra Blum, Andrea Rinaldi, Sandra Spitz and Dimitrije Lazarovski from UMIT Tirol. David Grevemberg, Chief Innovation and Partnership Officer at the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, also provided insights alongside Gabriela Mueller Mendoza, a specialist in Diversity and Inclusion in sports.
The collaboration across FIS departments was evident throughout the seminar with contributions from FIS Council member Fiona Stevens, Secretary General Michel Vion and Sustainability Director Susanna Sieff. The event served as a platform for raising awareness, exchanging ideas and fostering collaboration across all snow sports disciplines during the Spring Meetings.
