They have been working together since 2016 and have celebrated six DP World Tour victories together, including the Dubai Invitational in January.
During Finnis’ absence, Fleetwood has turned to Adrian Rietveld from TaylorMade and Gray Moore, who worked at Augusta National, to caddie for him at various tournaments. Finnis took to Instagram to share the news of his successful open-heart surgery and expressed his gratitude to the NHS staff for their care and support. He also thanked everyone for their love and well wishes as he embarks on his road to recovery following the surgery.
Fleetwood and Finnis have built a strong professional relationship, and their bond extends beyond the golf course. As such, Finnis’ recovery is a top priority for Fleetwood.
Fleetwood shared that Finnis has been unwell all year and is now at home focusing on treatment and recovery. The two of them have known each other since they were teenagers in Southport, England, where they grew up playing golf together.
