Cardinals add four draft picks to roster, still have eight unsigned

The Cardinals have announced that four of their draftees have signed contracts. These include linebacker Xavier Thomas, offensive tackle Christian Jones, receiver Tejhaun Palmer, and cornerback Jaden Davis. Although there are still eight draftees who remain unsigned, these four players are now officially under contract.

Xavier Thomas was highly regarded as a prospect in the 2018 class and finished his freshman year at Clemson as an All-American. He had an impressive 2023 season with 25 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks.

Christian Jones was the second offensive lineman drafted by the Cardinals and has shown versatility in his play. Tejhaun Palmer is the team’s second wide receiver drafted this year and joins a revamped receiving room that includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, and veteran Chris Moore.

Jaden Davis has also shown versatility in his play, having played in various positions including outside, in the slot, and at safety. Last season, he accounted for 42 tackles, four pass deflections, and two forced fumbles. Despite these signings, there are still eight draftees who remain unsigned by the Cardinals.
