XDefiant, a first-person shooter, will be released on May 21 for Xbox, PS5, and PC.

Ubisoft is set to launch the first-person shooter XDefiant on May 21 for Xbox Series. The game was initially announced in July 2021 as part of the Tom Clancy’s franchise and featured multiplayer mode, customizable characters, and various game modes.

However, due to certification issues from Sony and Microsoft, the game faced delays and was postponed from its originally planned summer 2023 release. The development team continued to address inconsistencies in the gameplay experience, leading to further delays. Finally, Ubisoft confirmed the release date of May 21 for Xbox, PS5, and PC platforms.

Players in XDefiant can choose from five factions, each with unique equipment, skills, and abilities. They can customize their loadout before the game starts and change it at any time during respawn. The game features five different modes on 14 maps, with a variety of weapons and accessories.

Each faction in XDefiant offers two active skills, a passive upgrade, and an ultra skill that requires charging. DedSec is one of the factions that is initially locked but can be accessed by completing missions. Players can equip primary and secondary weapons, as well as grenades such as submachine guns, shotguns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles.

The game modes are divided into Arena categories like Domination and Occupy as well as Linear modes such as Zone Control and Escort. Ubisoft has provided details on the factions
