The summit seeks to create a global agenda for urgent action to tackle challenges associated with extreme poverty. Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans emphasized the importance of advancing ideas to end extreme poverty, stating that the world is facing critical issues that require immediate attention. Actors like Hugh Jackman, Danai Gurira, and Dakota Johnson will be participating in the event.
Michelle Yeoh expressed her commitment to using her platform to raise awareness about food security and climate change. Danai Gurira focused on amplifying underrepresented voices and addressing inequities in Africa during the summit.
