Georgia’s doubles team played exceptionally well, with Anastasiia Lopata and Mell Reasco earning a quick 6-1 victory on court three, extending their winning streak as a pair to nine matches. Dasha Vidmanova and Aysegul Mert also sealed a 6-0 win on court one, ensuring the doubles point for Georgia.
With momentum on their side, Georgia entered singles play with wins on all six courts in the first set.
