The World Beer Cup recently recognized two Helena breweries for their outstanding craft beers. Lewis and Clark Brewing Company won a gold award for Miner’s Gold Hefeweizen American wheat beer, while Copper Furrow Brewing earned a bronze medal for its Tmavé international dark lager.
Max Pigman, the owner and president of Lewis and Clark Brewing Company, expressed his excitement at winning the gold award, saying that it was a testament to the quality and consistency of their product. He attributed the success of Miner’s Gold to his team’s dedication to producing a top-notch beer. This particular beer has won gold at the World Beer Cup twice, making it one of the most awarded wheat beers in history.
Copper Furrow Brewing also received recognition at the competition, earning its first ever medal with a bronze award for Tmavé. Nick Diehl, the head brewer at Copper Furrow, expressed his satisfaction with this achievement, stating that Tmavé is a unique dark Czech lager with richness and a slightly roasted taste that makes it an enjoyable option for beer connoisseurs.
In addition to these two Helena breweries, two other Montana breweries also earned Bronze awards at the competition: Sacred Brewing Company in Kalispell and MAP Brewing Company in Bozeman.
