Helsinki Stock Exchange Experiences Dividend-Driven Decline, While Companies Announce Cost Reduction Measures and Staff Reductions

On Thursday, the Helsinki stock exchange experienced a decline, with several companies announcing dividend payments. The general index fell by 0.5 percent to 9,747 points, with the most traded stocks showing a decrease. Notably, Nordea saw a rise of 0.2 percent while Sampo fell by 1.9 percent after the dividend was removed, causing a 2.4 percent drop in stock value.

Jefferies lowered Sammo’s target price from EUR 38.50 to EUR 38.00 while maintaining a hold recommendation.
