Henderson authorities on the lookout for suspect who shot business owner during robbery

On Friday, a business owner was shot during a robbery at Rosita’s Conexion Latina in the 1500 block of West Main Street in Henderson. The incident took place and shots were fired, leaving the owner with injuries. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, prompting the police to launch an investigation.

In an effort to apprehend the suspect, the Henderson Police Department released a composite sketch of the person of interest on Wednesday. Created by a Texas DPS sketch artist, the sketch depicts a Hispanic man wearing a green full-brim hat, dark clothing, and a camo bandana covering his face. The suspect was also described as wearing dark gloves and construction boots at the time of the incident.

The police are working diligently to bring the perpetrator to justice and have urged anyone with information about the suspect to contact them at 903-657-3512.
