In the mobile device market, HMD has recently launched its first series of smartphones under its new brand, HMD Pulse. This range features three models that offer up to 59 hours of battery life and come with user-friendly designs that allow for self-repair with iFixit.
HMD is well known for manufacturing Nokia phones, but they announced plans to launch their own original brand in September 2023. The HMD Pulse series consists of three models: Pulse, Pulse+, and Pulse Pro. They all come equipped with a Unisoc T606 processor, but vary in memory configurations. The design of these smartphones features elegant and modern lines, with a smooth back and metallic finish. The Pulse model is available in pink and black, Pulse+ in orange and black, and Pulse Pro in green, purple, and black.
All three models have a 6.65-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The standout feature of the Pulse Pro model is its 50MP main camera and 50MP front camera for selfies. The Pulse+ model also includes a 50MP rear main camera, while the standard Pulse model has a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera.
The battery capacity of these smartphones is 5,000 mAh, providing up to 59 hours of battery life. They support fast wired charging, with different power outputs for each model.
