IBM has recently expanded the availability of its software portfolio to 92 countries through AWS Marketplace, the digital catalog of Amazon Web Services (AWS). This expansion has simplified the purchasing and billing processes for customers in countries beyond Germany, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and the United States where it was already accessible. With this move, IBM is providing its customers with more options and opportunities to access its technology solutions.
IBM’s expanded portfolio includes 44 listings and 29 software as a service (SaaS) offerings. These offerings include technologies like watsonx.data and watsonx.ai from the watsonx platform. Additionally, other services available from IBM for these countries are Dv2 Cloud Pak for Data, Apptio, Turbonomic, Instana, and IBM Security & Sustainability, all built on Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS.
To further enhance its offerings to customers in various countries, IBM plans to launch 15 new professional services and IBM Consulting assets on AWS Marketplace in the near future. This move aligns with the company’s goal to provide a comprehensive range of services that meet customer needs and demand across different regions of the world. By expanding its portfolio on AWS Marketplace, IBM is demonstrating its commitment to delivering innovative technology solutions that enable businesses to grow and succeed globally.
