The Indian cricket team has been announced for the men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will take place in the West Indies and the USA in June. Rohit Sharma will lead the squad as captain, with Hardik Pandya serving as vice-captain. Virat Kohli, who was the leading run-scorer at the IPL 2024, has also been included in the squad.
Rishabh Pant is set to make a comeback to the Indian cricket team after recovering from a car accident in December 2022. Sanju Samson has also been included as an additional wicketkeeper in the squad. Shubman Gill did not make it into the final squad but Rinku Singh, known for his batting as a finisher, has been included among the reserves.
