Hanover business suffers damages from morning fire

On Saturday morning, a fire broke out at the NAPA Auto Parts shop located at 1195 Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. The blaze was contained to the back of the building and was reported around 9:30 am. Visible damage could be seen on the exterior of the structure.

The fire prompted a response from numerous fire crews, including Dunkirk, Sunset Bay, Silver Creek, Forestville, Chautauqua County Emergency Services, Hanover Center, and local law enforcement. Despite the best efforts of the firefighters, the blaze proved to be quite challenging.

After several hours of intense fighting, the fire was successfully contained. Thankfully, no injuries were reported during the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
