New Axe-Throwing Business Comes to Town

A new business has opened its doors in East Helena, bringing the exciting activity of axe-throwing to the area. On Tuesday, April 16, a group of ten people spent the evening learning and practicing their skills at Brewer Creek Axe Throwing. The business operates from a mobile axe-throwing trailer and was inspired by owners Keith and Galen Brewer’s love of travel.

The Brewers noticed that axe-throwing was a popular activity in cities like Spokane and Missoula and wanted to bring that experience back to the Helena area. They built the trailer in November and had a soft launch earlier this year, stationed at Missouri River Brewing in East Helena on Thursday and Friday nights.

Interested participants are encouraged to make reservations to secure a spot at Brewer Creek Axe Throwing. Walk-ins are also welcome depending on availability. The trailer offers other activities like cornhole, ladder golf, and Montana yard dice for those waiting for their turn to throw axes. Friendly competitions and the opportunity to try different axes are also part of the experience.

For the upcoming summer season, Brewer Creek Axe Throwing will be at Copper Furrow Brewing on Wednesday nights, Missouri River Brewing on Thursday nights, and Lewis and Clark Brewery on Sunday afternoons. The goal of Brewer Creek Axe Throwing is to provide a fun and unique experience for people in the Helena area.
