Iraqi Government Holds Talks on Consequences of Recent Rainfall Event

On Saturday, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani led a meeting with various government officials to discuss the impact of the recent rain wave. In attendance were the Ministers of Interior and Trade, the Mayor of Baghdad, the General Coordinator for Governorate Affairs, the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, and other officials from various ministries.

The purpose of the meeting was to fully understand and assess the damage caused by the rain wave and work towards containing and addressing it effectively.
