Israel strikes multiple Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

On Tuesday, the Israeli Army launched new airstrikes on several “terrorist infrastructures” belonging to the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. No casualties were reported as a result of these attacks. These bombings are part of the ongoing clashes between Israel and Hezbollah that have been happening for nearly seven months following Hamas’ attacks on Israeli territory.

According to the Israeli Army’s website, combat aircraft targeted Hezbollah infrastructures in Kafarkila and Al Khiam in southern Lebanon. Additionally, two anti-tank missiles were fired towards the north of the country, specifically Merhav Dov, but they hit open spaces without causing any casualties or damage. The IDF confirmed that they had retaliated against the sources of the missile attacks.

The Israeli Army and Hezbollah, with Iranian support and significant political influence in Lebanon, have been engaged in sporadic clashes since October 8th. These clashes began just a day after Hamas’ attacks resulted in numerous casualties and kidnappings according to Israeli authorities.
