GPAC celebrates eight Jimmies baseball players – Jamestown Sun

The University of Jamestown baseball team had a remarkable season this year, with eight players receiving GPAC All-Conference awards. Leading the way was first-team member Alex Alva, who hit .330 with five home runs, 37 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases. Avery Liestman also made the first team, going 7-1 with a 2.38 ERA and 46 strikeouts in his first season as a Jimmie. Ethan Petty pitched in 23 games, going 1-1 with a 0.42 ERA and 36 strikeouts.

On the second team were Chase Burke, Cade Torgerson, and Jordan Singleton. Torgerson had an impressive record of 7-3 in 16 appearances, including one save
