On Saturday, April 27, the University of Jamestown softball team faced Morningside University at the Mustangs’ Jensen Softball Complex. The Jimmies got off to a strong start, with Abby Blair scoring the first run by singling home Trinity Gregg in the first inning. They added another run to take a 2-0 lead before Morningside scored in the third to make it 2-1. The Jimmies secured the win with a run-scoring single by Gracie Fisher in the fifth, ending the game with a score of 3-1.
In the second game of the doubleheader, the Jimmies took an early lead by scoring three runs on five hits in the second inning. However, Morningside fought back with three runs of their own in the third, tying the game at 3-3. Both teams continued to score throughout
