Dog triggers fire alarm at pet grooming business in Carmel – Latest updates on Indianapolis News, Indiana Weather, and Traffic conditions.

In Carmel, Indiana, over the weekend, a Labrador retriever caused quite a stir at a local dog grooming business. According to the Carmel Fire Department, a client was about to leave Canine Cloud Nine located at 885 Monon Green Blvd when their dog, named Bear, pulled the fire alarm.

Upon responding to the alarm, firefighters found no actual fire at the business. The workers at Canine Cloud Nine explained that Bear had done it on purpose to speed up the process of leaving. Following this incident, the fire department took to social media to share the story and remind everyone of the importance of not triggering false alarms.

The fire department’s post detailed the situation and stated that Bear, a black lab, was responsible for pulling the false alarm. Officials talked to all dogs at the grooming business about not doing it again and were grateful that no harm came from this unique and amusing incident. While waiting for maintenance to arrive and reset the alarm, the fire crews played with all dogs at Canine Cloud Nine and made sure they were well taken care of during this time.
