Sunckle believes that humor can pave the way for challenging conversations, and that laughter can be a powerful tool in helping people deal with difficult situations. The festival features 40 comedians, including local comic Lucas Waterfill, who has used comedy to cope with his addiction and cerebral palsy. By sharing relatable stories like Waterfill’s, Sunckle hopes to show attendees that they are not alone in their struggles.
