Middle Ground Comedy Festival strives to enhance the well-being of attendees through laughter

Gwen Sunckle is a comedian and a nurse in Indianapolis, where she has made it her mission to use laughter as medicine to help those struggling with mental health. She founded the Middle Ground Comedy Festival, which aims to bring together comedians from all over the country and provide them with an opportunity to showcase their talents while also spreading joy and positivity.

Sunckle believes that humor can pave the way for challenging conversations, and that laughter can be a powerful tool in helping people deal with difficult situations. The festival features 40 comedians, including local comic Lucas Waterfill, who has used comedy to cope with his addiction and cerebral palsy. By sharing relatable stories like Waterfill’s, Sunckle hopes to show attendees that they are not alone in their struggles.

The festival takes place from April 25th to April 28th and tickets are priced between $10 and $25 to ensure affordability for everyone. To learn more about the festival or purchase tickets, visit their website.
