Week of May 6-11: District 10 Spring Sports Results

On Monday, Mercyhurst Prep baseball clinched a season sweep of Fairview with a thrilling 6-3 victory. Following the win, the team heard from Hunter Krahe, who pitched 5 2/3 innings, Josh Majczyk, who launched a three-run home run, and coach Randy Durkoske.

In other sports news from Monday, the District 10 boys tennis championship results were announced at Westwood Racquet Club. In the Class 2A singles tournament, the top seed Jonah Ng from Cathedral Prep defeated No. 2 Gavin Ferretti from Cathedral Prep with a score of 6-1, 6-0. In the Class 3A singles tournament, No. 1 John Sinnott from Erie High emerged victorious against Gridley Wright from McDowell with a score of 6-1, 6-3.
