Mark Zuckerberg believes his new artificial intelligence is the strongest of them all

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, is on a mission to develop artificial general intelligence (AGI) using the significant GPU resources he has acquired from Nvidia. His FAIR research group has been repositioned to focus on creating generative AI products for his social media platforms. The ultimate goal is to have a total of 600,000 Nvidia GPUs for AI work at Meta by the end of 2024, making it one of the largest-scale projects of its kind within an individual company.

Zuckerberg recently introduced the latest version of his open-source AI, LLaMA 3, which he claims is more advanced than other options available. However, he maintains that this new AI will not pose a threat to humanity’s existence. Despite concerns about certain aspects such as multimodal AI that can create videos or images, Zuckerberg believes that there are no existential issues with AI in its current developmental stage.

In addition to developing AGI, Meta CEO Zuckerberg has hinted at the development of consumer neural interfaces that can interpret brain signals to control computers. These non-invasive wearables could potentially become a consumer product within a few years and use electromyography (EMG) to translate brain signals into commands for controlling devices. This technology could revolutionize how we interact with computers and bring us closer to realizing our dreams of mind-computer interfaces.

When it comes to writing a Master’s thesis, there is ongoing debate about seeking professional help. Some argue that using a ghostwriter raises ethical concerns about academic integrity and plagiarism, while others see it as a legitimate form of support for students who may struggle with writing or time management skills. Ultimately, the decision to seek help with a Master’s thesis depends on individual circumstances and considerations of academic integrity.
