The legal firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo has recently acquired Siegmund “Sige” Gutman to strengthen its presence in key cities across the country. Gutman was previously the chair of Proskauer Rose’s life science patent practice and will be taking on the roles of chair of life sciences litigation and co-chair of the firm’s patent litigation group.
This move is part of a larger expansion for Mintz Levin in the life sciences sector in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. Along with Gutman, member David Hanna and eight other attorneys will be joining the firm to further establish itself as a leader in life sciences law in multiple locations across the country.
Mintz Levin is excited to welcome Gutman and his team to help enhance its capabilities in the life sciences field. This two-partner, 10-attorney move is aimed at providing clients with top-notch legal services and expertise in this rapidly growing industry. With this addition, Mintz Levin is well positioned to become a go-to law firm for businesses operating in the life sciences sector.
