They highlight how unrealistic was MNA’s starting position, which originally asked for top of scale nurses to be paid $51.30 per hour in the first year alone. In contrast, MyMichigan’s offer steadily increased over time, showing their willingness to compromise. They also emphasize the benefits and incentives along with investments in systems like Epic that contribute to overall compensation package for nurses.
The administration stresses that they value and listen to their nurses and have proposed allowing them to vote on contract proposals.
