The NBA’s sixth annual California Classic is set to take place this summer in Sacramento and San Francisco. This year, the event will have a new format, with the Kings and Warriors teaming up to host an expanded dual California Classic event.

Golden 1 Center in Sacramento will host games on July 6, 7, and 9 featuring the Kings, San Antonio Spurs, and Charlotte Hornets. On the other hand, Chase Center in San Francisco will host games on July 6, 7, and 10 with the Warriors, Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat.

The event will showcase rookies from the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, sophomore players, and others looking to make NBA and G League rosters. The final game will be between the Warriors and Kings on July 10 at Chase Center.

Modified game play rules will be in place for the summer league games, including 10-minute quarters. Team rosters, game matchups, entertainment, fan activations, broadcast information, and ticket options will be announced at a later date.
