8 additional border posts installed along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border

Currently, a total of 28 border posts have been installed on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border as part of the ongoing coordinate adjustment works. This represents approximately 35% of the planned works, according to the Armenian government. The expert groups from both countries are continuing their work on the border, with specific demarcation works in the Tavush marz region near the Kirantsi bridge remaining visible.

Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of Parliament, Armen Khachatryan, had informed “Azatutyan” that border demarcation processes in the Tavush and Kazakh sectors had already been completed. However, this progress on border posts and signs is just one aspect of ongoing efforts to delineate the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
