The Chargers have been busy in recent days, as they have added a number of players to their roster. Two of the latest signings are offensive lineman Karsen Barnhart and linebacker Junior Colson, both of whom played for head coach Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. Additionally, the Chargers have signed quarterback Casey Bauman as an undrafted free agent.
Barnhart was a standout at Michigan, starting in 30 games across both guard and tackle positions. He will join Colson and seventh-round wide receiver Cornelius Johnson as they make the move from Ann Arbor to Los Angeles. Bauman had an impressive season at Augustana, throwing for 2,878 yards and 29 touchdowns.
The Chargers have also secured deals with several other undrafted free agents, including Luke Benson from Georgia Tech, Akeem Dent from Florida State, Jaelen Gill from Fresno State, and Thomas Harper from Notre Dame. This influx of new talent will surely add depth and competition to the Chargers’ roster as they prepare for the upcoming season.
