On April 18th, Ogeechee Technical College celebrated the graduation of its 2024 Veterinary Technology class with a pinning ceremony held in the auditorium of the Joseph E. Kennedy Building. The event was led by Juliana Cadle, President of the Ogeechee Tech’s Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (SCNAVTA), who welcomed guests and led the Challenge to Serve.
During the ceremony, Deidre Tillman, a Veterinary Technology instructor at OTC, praised the graduates for their dedication to completing their academic curriculum and for demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and compassionate care throughout their training. She expressed confidence in their abilities to make a difference in the lives of animals and their human companions.
As part of the ceremony, each graduate took the Veterinary Technician’s Oath and were individually recognized and presented with an Ogeechee Technical College Veterinary Technology pin. The 2024 pin recipients are Avery Beasley, Bonnie Blackburn, Enyia Bostic, Hannah Etheridge, Bryn Green, Faith Jones, Michalla Jones, Maranda Martin, Taylor Rhymes-Weidner, and Madison Wooley.
