Nashville has long been a prominent player in health care, boasting a network of health systems, startups and investment firms. The city’s reputation as a health care hub dates back to the founding of HCA Healthcare in 1968, which attracted a wave of health care professionals and organizations to the area.
In recent years, Oracle has been developing a $1.2 billion campus in Nashville over the past three years. Ellison expressed enthusiasm for Nashville and called it the center of Oracle’s future.
