The team had a strong showing overall, finishing third in Division 5 after a loss to the eventual champions in the quarterfinals.
The Defenders’ resilience was on full display throughout the game, with Marcus Ryan and Sawyer Lynn scoring crucial baskets that forced overtime. Lynn’s 19 points, including three 3-pointers, played a key role in the victory. Junior Marcus Ryan stood out with an impressive 34-point performance, while Hunter Edwards contributed 10 rebounds and Kayden Peterson excelled on defense throughout the season. Both Ryan and Lynn earned spots on the All-Tournament team for their standout performances.
