Panthers Make History by Signing Entire Draft Class

The Panthers made headlines by becoming the first team to have their entire draft class signed, with all seven picks under contract. This new class of players brings excitement and potential to the Panthers as they begin their journey in the NFL.

Leading the draft class is first-round pick Xavier Legette, a talented receiver from South Carolina. He will be joined by second-round pick Jonathon Brooks, although he will not be participating in the minicamp as he continues to recover from an ACL tear. Other picks joining Legette at practice include third-round linebacker Trevin Wallace, fourth-round tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders, fifth-round cornerback Chau Smith-Wade, sixth-round defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy, and seventh-round linebacker Michael Barrett.

The rookie minicamp is set to begin on Friday, giving fans a chance to see the new players on the field for the first time. It’s an opportunity for the team to evaluate their skills and potential in a controlled environment before they hit the field for training camp later this summer.

The signing of this entire draft class marks a significant milestone for the Panthers as they continue to build their roster for future success in the NFL.
