Late on Friday, Poland’s Finance Minister, Andrzej Domanski, announced that the country has finalized a 250-million-euro agreement with the World Bank to support its Clean Air program. In a recent post on social media platform X, Domanski highlighted discussions with World Bank president Ajay Banga regarding global economic challenges and the increasing disparity worldwide.
The Clean Air initiative is part of a subsidy plan in Poland that aims to replace outdated heat sources and improve insulation in single-family homes. The funding provided by the World Bank will assist in this effort, as well as other environmental initiatives in the country.
Domanski stated that he and Banga discussed various global economic issues and how they impact Poland and other countries around the world. They also talked about ways to address the growing inequality that is prevalent globally.
