According to Kauppalehti’s latest report, the ten most popular stocks on the Helsinki Stock Exchange have remained relatively consistent at the beginning of the year, with some fluctuations in ownership. Despite this, there is no direct correlation between income and the development of the number of owners.

Neste, an oil refining company, experienced the worst annual return on the list of public stocks, with its share price falling by around 32 percent in the current year. However, despite this poor performance, Neste saw an increase in the number of owners by more than 15,000 at the beginning of the year. This reflects investor interest in the company.

Nordea, a banking group, continues to have the most owners on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, with an increase of 5,400 owners at the start of the year.
