FJH Technology Boosts Metal Recovery in MTM Operations

Mt Monger Resources Ltd. (AU:MTM) has released an update on their FJH prototype, which has shown significant improvement in the recovery of rare earth elements and critical metals from coal fly ash. The increases in recovery rates range from 50% to 514% compared to traditional acid leach methods.

The advancement, which has been scaled up 50 times from the initial proof of concept, also aims to reduce acid use and waste in the leaching process. This sustainable technology is looking to expand testing to other metal-rich waste sources to improve its economic viability.
