Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp were involved in a heated exchange on the sidelines during Liverpool’s game at West Ham on Saturday. Salah was waiting to come onto the pitch as a substitute in the second half, adding intrigue to the situation. The fact that Salah was on the bench for such an important must-win game for Liverpool was a story in itself.
As Liverpool’s three substitutes of Salah, Nunez, and Joe Gomez waited to come on, Darwin Nunez pushed Salah away. Klopp seemed to say something to Salah, who did not react well as they watched on as West Ham scored to make it 2-2 against Liverpool.
It remains to be seen what Klopp will say about the exchange after the game, but it did not look like a pleasant moment between the manager and the forward.
