The Saints add five additional draft picks to their roster, including Spencer Rattler

The Saints have successfully signed all of their draft picks except for one. On Thursday night, the team announced that they have secured contracts with fifth-round quarterback Spencer Rattler, fifth-round receiver Bub Means, fifth-round linebacker Jaylan Ford, sixth-round defensive tackle Khristian Boyd, and seventh-round offensive tackle Josiah Ezirim. In addition to these signings, first-round offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga also signed earlier in the day. This leaves only second-round cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry as the sole unsigned draft pick.

Spencer Rattler, who was picked 150th overall in the draft, has played three seasons at Oklahoma and two seasons at South Carolina throughout his career. He has completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 10,807 yards with 77 touchdowns and 32 interceptions while also rushing for 16 scores. With Derek Carr and Jake Haener already in the quarterbacks room, Rattler will now be part of a talented group of signal callers.
