SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City has announced the appointment of Justin Morley as its new vice president of operations. Morley takes over the position following the retirement of Becky Miller last year. With five years of experience serving as the vice president of operations at the SSM Health System office, Morley is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to his new role.
During his time at the system office, Morley played a pivotal role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model. He also founded the concept behind the company’s Clinical Recruitment Team. In a news release, Morley expressed his passion for hospital operations, noting that his career began in supply chain management. He emphasized his love for the connection between the work carried out within hospitals and the impact it has on patients and communities.
Morley expressed excitement about working alongside the dedicated caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital, emphasizing the institution’s rich history of providing care to those in need. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with exceptional individuals and teams as they continue to uphold a standard of excellence in all they do.
In his new role, Morley will oversee various departments, including the inpatient pharmacy, information technology, safety, and security, among others. Prior to joining SSM Health, Morley held leadership positions at Intermountain Health in two different regions as well as at the system office. His diverse background and experience are expected to be valuable assets in his new position at St. Mary’s Hospital.
