St. Paul wins against Doherty in softball

The highly anticipated softball game between St. Paul and Doherty took place at Bob Rousseau Field in Worcester, Mass. In the end, it was St. Paul that emerged victorious with a final score of 6-1.

Bella Mara delivered an impressive performance on the mound for St. Paul, allowing only two hits and recording 16 strikeouts. Her strong pitching helped lead her team to victory. Emma Nordahl powered the Knights’ offense, going 3-4 with a double, triple, RBI, and a run scored. Mara also contributed with a solo home run, while Ava Grant added an RBI of her own.

On the Doherty side, Audrey Lefebvre managed a solo home run. Despite the loss, the Highlanders displayed strong defensive plays, including Tess Lee’s remarkable diving catch in right field.

With this win, St. Paul improved their record to 9-4, while Doherty now stands at 7-6. Both teams put on a competitive showing in the game, showcasing their skills and determination on the field.
