NHL All-Stars named to U.S. Men’s Hockey World Championship Roster

NHL players are gearing up for the Olympics as the U.S. Hockey team prepares to send a star-studded roster to an upcoming world championship. Led by Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk, the team includes several NHL All-Stars such as Johnny Gaudreau, Seth Jones, Dylan Larkin, and Zach Werenski. Luke Hughes, a 20-year-old defenseman for the New Jersey Devils, is the youngest player on the roster. The U.S. team has had recent success at world championships, finishing fourth in the last two years and making the semifinals 12 times since the introduction of a bracketed playoff round in 1992. Johnny Gaudreau’s seven All-Star appearances make him one of the most decorated players on this roster while Seth Jones’ five All-Star appearances showcase his versatility on defense.

Dylan Larkin and Zach Werenski both bring youth and energy to this lineup with three and two All-Star appearances respectively.

Luke Hughes is young but experienced enough to hold his own against some of these veterans with his speed and skill on defense.

This roster boasts more All-Stars than any US team since 2019 which shows just how talented these guys are.
