Surge in Assets for International Fund Managers in Spain: ETFs, Equities and Fixed Income Investments on the Rise

This represents an increase of 11,000 million euros compared to the start of 2024, according to estimates by the sector’s employers’ association, Inverco.

The two primary reasons behind this growth are the profitability of portfolios due to market rises and increased inflows of money compared to outflows over the last three months. Around 35.4% of all assets were invested in ETFs at the end of March, amounting to nearly 76,000 million euros. Equities and fixed income investments also remain popular among investors.

BlackRock holds the top position among international fund managers in Spain with total assets under management of 46,955 million euros, followed closely by Amundi and JP Morgan. Other notable players in the industry include DWS, Fidelity International, Morgan Stanley, and Pictet.
