In Stafford last year, a series of burglaries occurred at various businesses. Three juveniles were arrested in connection with these thefts, including a 17-year-old boy who was apprehended earlier this month. The two other suspects, ages 16 and 17, had been arrested previously and were placed in the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.
The burglary spree began on November 9 with the theft of cash, wine, and vapes from Nara Thai Cuisine and Stafford Tobacco and Vape Shop, both located on Garrisonville Road in North Stafford. On December 8, the vape shop was burglarized again, along with Shaz Unique Studio Salon on the same road. During these heists, thieves took vapes, cash, and a laptop. Two days later, Discount Tobacco and Vape on Deacon Road in the southern part of the county was broken into. Deputies who were in the area were able to arrest one of the suspects at that time by connecting him to other break-ins using surveillance camera footage. All three teens are currently facing multiple charges including breaking and entering, grand larceny, destruction of property and conspiracy.
