The University of Utah will recognize its 155th general commencement on Thursday, May 2, with a total of 118 current or former student-athletes set to receive their degrees. This event celebrates graduates from Fall 2023, and Spring and Summer 2024 who have earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
The University of Utah has a longstanding reputation for producing successful student-athletes, with a 94% figure in the most recent NCAA GSR Report released in December 2023. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Utah’s score has been 93% or higher and ranks second in the Pac-12 behind Stanford.
The graduating student-athletes come from a variety of sports including baseball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cross country and track & field, football, golf, gymnastics, lacrosse, skiing, soccer, softball, men’s swimming & diving, women’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, women’s tennis
