Tinder introduces Share My Date feature to enhance safety in dating

In response to the trend of young people under 30 sharing aspects of their dates with their friends, Tinder is launching a new feature called “Share My Date”. This feature allows users to share their date details with friends and family, making the dating experience more fun, safe, and respectful for all users.

Melissa Hobley, Tinder’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized that “Share My Date” was designed to enhance the dating experience by allowing users to focus on the fun aspects of getting ready for a date, like choosing an outfit and preparing conversation topics. With this feature, users can easily share details such as location, date, time, and a photo of their date through a simple link. Users have control over who they share this information with and can schedule an unlimited number of dates up to 30 days in advance. Additionally, users can update details if there are any last-minute changes.

The feature will be rolled out in the coming months in various countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Singapore
