The Titans made a strong first-round pick with the selection of JC Latham, an offensive tackle who is expected to start right away. Although the Titans may have reached with some of their later picks, landing Cedric Gray in the fourth round has the potential to be a steal for the team. However, overall, the draft class lacks excitement unless T’Vondre Sweat can develop into a pass rusher.
The favorite pick of the draft was JC Latham, originally considered for the fifth overall pick. Latham’s talents in the run game and protection will be an asset to the team alongside Will Levis, Calvin Ridley, and DeAndre Hopkins. On the opposite end, T’Vondre Sweat from Texas was not well received as he lacks pass rush abilities at an NFL level.
