Severe storms continued in eastern Oklahoma late into Monday night, with a confirmed tornado on the ground just west of Skiatook Lake around 9:15 p.m. The storm tracked to the northeast through Barnsdall toward the Bartlesville area before being absorbed by the squall line to the west. Witnesses reported seeing a large wedge tornado near Barnsdall, where damage has been reported.
Meteorologist Kirsten Lang provided the forecast for severe weather expected Monday night, including a tornado watch that was in effect until 11 p.m. in Tulsa County. Storms were expected to move east, possibly becoming stronger and more severe with hail, wind, and isolated tornadoes as the main threats.
