Murder at Santa Ana business complex: Man fatally shoots girlfriend and her uncle, NBC Los Angeles reports

Jordan Block and Brian Martin, two victims of a murder-suicide attempt in Santa Ana, were identified as 25-year-old and 64-year-old respectively. Their tragic deaths were the result of a violent attack that occurred on Thursday. The niece and uncle were discovered in a unit of a business complex in Santa Ana.

According to authorities, Block called 911 after arriving at her uncle’s home to visit him. Her boyfriend, who had also been there, ended up stabbing both Block and Martin, leading to their untimely demise. Despite the quick response from the police, they arrived too late to save the victims.

People who knew Martin described him as friendly and even taught women’s self-defense classes. His collection of ancient swords was well-known and one was found bloodied outside the garage after the incident. The suspect, Jordan’s boyfriend, was found with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was in critical condition as of Friday afternoon. The motive for the attack is still under investigation.
