On April 19, a 35-year-old man was shot and killed in an early morning incident at a strip mall on Henry Ruff Road, near Cherry Hill Road in Inkster. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m., and investigators spent hours at the scene gathering evidence.
Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to the hospital, where one of them succumbed to his injuries. The other victim, a 33-year-old man, remains in critical condition.
The investigation has been handed over from the Inkster Police Department to the Michigan State Police for further examination. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear, and authorities are seeking witnesses or individuals with information related to the incident.
