The American Academy of Nursing is currently inviting submissions for abstracts to the 2024 Health Policy Conference. The conference, titled “Courageous Transformations Towards an Equitable Future Conference,” will take place from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2, 2024, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
The focus of the conference will be on virtual health, community-based partnerships, and the economic value of nursing in advancing towards a more equitable future. Attendees will have access to leadership strategies for systemic change and promoting overall well-being. Interprofessional thought leaders in policy and practice will share key interventions for health equity that will transform healthcare delivery, payment, and reception.
The Academy is encouraging fellows, nurses, students, policymakers, and other stakeholders to engage in a conversation that will prepare them for trusted collaborations and bold actions to advance evidence-driven policy solutions. Abstract submissions are due by June 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m ET
